I want to be able to come to work 10-15 minutes early, and just have my quiet time with God, and would like a website that maybe updates everyday, and let's you read different verses (new testament and growth driven) - for my devotional everyday, so nothing about old testament sacrifices and genesis and all that...I need verses to help me on my spiritual walk daily, maybe that include a lesson. Can be written, or audio or whatever. Thanks.

FYI _ I am not Catholic, I am Fundamentalist/Protestant, so I want verses about my growth and personal relationship with Christ...not the stale, monotonous drone of more Catholic teachings. (i went to Catholic highschool, so I'm well aware, lol)

http://www.crivoice.org/RCLmenu.html

Daily readings from the Revised Common Lectionary (all mainline Christian Churches ues the RCL a committee of all pick a three year cycle. However only the Catholic Churches are bound to it)

This site is a ecumenical site wil Daily reading, bible topics, worship topics, etc. We are currently in year C and the first Sunday of advent we will go back to year A.
On the side click on daily readings scroll down to the seasons of the church and it will tell you what dates are what seasons and then you know where to go.

It may sound confusing at first but it is well worth it because they provide new and old testament readings and psalms all of which coordinate with each other on a topic or theme. It also give both Am and PM readings

EDIT: BIG DEAL YOUR NOT CATHOLIC, the Common lectionary the Cathoics use is the same one all other Mainline Christian groups use and they put it out together.

I suggest you get over the fact that you are not Catholic.

There are several online daily sights for Christians.
I think the best way to choose a specific one is to go and search throughout the site to see what it offers and to see if it can enrich your walk (and spirituality) with our Creator. I chose Beliefnet...or maybe it chose me. I'm not certain, but we're still going strong after about 2 1/2 years. It's a really great site to me. It offers daily wisdom, guidance, polls, quotes, etc. I suggest you start with it...then do a search for others. HOpe this helps you.
God Bless and I'll be praying for ya :)

**Oh and just for the record, I'm Pentecostal, but I can honestly say that this site has been a tremendous help to me and my spiritual growth...**

http://www.rbc.net/

Links to alot of the sites mentioned above as well as your option between three different types of devotionals daily.

GREAT overall resource that will cater to your needs whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours. Good luck.

ADDITION:
I just read what you added... just a suggestion but I would be leary of completely ruling out ANY one approach to faith as they all seem to come in at a different angle. I was also raised Catholic but became serious about my faith in a more Protestant setting--where I stayed for years. Recently I'm learning that both contribute significantly to my views/perspectives on faith and religion and both have fed me in different ways at different times. I believe that having experience in both approaches is a spirtual strength, not a setback.
