According to the Bible, whicfh was originally written by the Jews who adapted the concept of a single god from an older culture - god created the heavens and the earth. It is clearly stated in the opening lines of Genisis. There is no doubt about it.
There is no claim, except by fanatical christian, the JC did naything but advise that people should follow god's law (That Jewish god, remember). That was the way to "Heaven"
Today, extreme christians demand an oath of loyalty, someting like Hitler did with the German army. This is the concept of "repentance"
Be assured that whether you "Repent" or not life will go on as you make it. You are the ultimate judge of right and wrong and how to conduct youself in a manner that is acceptable to society, as a whole, and people around oyu as individuals. That is the basic teaching of JC and not all this nonsense pon\unded into gullible heads by religious fanatics.
If you really are so weak that you must believe, then carefull read both old and new testaments and be prepared for quite a shock as what your religious teachers are NOT telling you about what you should and should not do and what this Jewish god expects of oyu before you are qualified to enter this fairyland of "Heaven". If anyone tell you that it is not necessary for you to read the bible, that you cannot understand it, that you need someone wiser than you to teach you about it - ask yourself why they should not want you to read about the fundamentals of your faith. Ask why you, with the average intelligence of people who read it before, cannot understand the simple language of the boble. What are they hiding??? And prepare for a rude awakening.
Don't bother repenting - you have not done anything to be sorry for. Rest assured that JC didn't create anything but controversy and the concept of caring, respect, charity and common sense obedience to the social order.

If you ask God to forgive your sins, he will forgive you.
If, say, someone was a Christian and then they became an atheist and then they became a Christian again, you could say they repented again - because they had turned away from God. But it doesn't sound like you actually turned away from him, you just had some doubts.
Basically, Christians don't need to 'formally' accept God into their hearts to be Christians - all we need is to believe and have faith. But we 'repent - i.e. ask for forgiveness for our sins - all the time.
Remember Jesus and God are part of the same thing, the trinity - Father (God), Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. God created heaven and earth etc., so in a way Jesus did I guess.
Just tell God you're sorry for doubting him. Christianity isn't a big 'you must do this then this...' sort of thing.

I myself do not believe in "Once Saved," Just because a person is baptized doesn't exclude them from the laws of Jesus Christ or even the law of the land.
I would definetly say repent. Be honest and truly sorry for whatever you do in life. Have a conscience. Your conscience is simply God talking to you and guiding to make the right decisions in life for the REWARD of heaven.
I also strongly believe in purgatory. I think that if you aren't truly repentant for your sins, you will likely take a Time Out in purgatory to rethink your actions and have true sorrow for offending God. Once God has decided that you have owned up he will let you in. You can't have a sinful nature and gain access to Heaven.
I don't get the whole "saved," aspect really. What if a murderer was saved in his lifetime. What if you are a homosexual that was saved somewhere down the line. I don't mean that in an offensive way, I'm simply saying that if the truth were that everyone that is baptized is "saved," then wouldn't everyone be knocking down the doors of churches to sign up. What's the point in living a honest, just and prudent life if you don't have to worry about what you do or say to your neighbor.
I'm not suggesting you pick a side but merely repent in the name of Jesus for any sinful act or thought and carry it forward in your life. Being "saved" is not a get in free pass to heaven.
May God bless you and keep you in his arms!

From the moment you put your trusts in Jesus Christ as your savior, you are saved for eternity. He promises that all through out the new testament. Read the following: John 3:16 John 5:24 John 6:47 just to name a few. If salvation was not eternal, he would have called it temporary.
To repent does not mean to ask Jesus back into your heart, it simply means "to turn from". And he does tell us to turn from our sins, but he also realizes that were are human with an old sin nature. When we sin, we do need to ask his forgiveness. But once he is our Savior, it is FOREVER!!! I hope this helps.

Becoming like Jesus is a continual life pattern. We cannot just believe in him. Philip. 1:29, James 2:24, 26, Matthew 12:36, 37
We are judged not by whether we just believe in Jesus, but by our works/actions, deeds and even "every word out of our mouths".
Those who claim to believe in Jesus but refuse to obey are said to be crucifying Christ again for themselves. Hebrews 6:4-6, 10:26-29.
If we were "once saved always saved", there would be absolutely no reason to have to live and work through 1,000 years of judgement day and then pass a final test at the end of it...the test and trial is to bring all our actions and thoughts into captivity to the Christ. Revelation 20 chapter, 2 Cor. 10:5.
People will hold out all that 1,000 years without having to be destroyed as unpardonable and yet fall in the final test.

It seems many Christians miss the whole point of the cross! It is not possible to lose your salvation once you are saved. If it were possible then Jesus would have to come back and die all over again. How did you get saved in the first place? By faith of course! You need to understand that when Jesus hung on the cross, the Lord poured out on Him the sin of the whole world. Yours, mine, every ones. How many of your sins did Jesus die for? All of them of course. When the saved person sins, his status as a son doesn't change but his fellowship with the Lord is broken. When he confesses his sin, he is instantly forgiven and right back into fellowship with the Lord again. Ephesians 4:30 tells us that when we believed, we were "Sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption" If it were possible to lose our salvation then it becomes a saved by grace plus works deal which it isn't. Jesus offered eternal life and not tempory.

Once Saved Always Saved is a patently false doctrine. Even the Apostle Paul taught that he kept himself under control lest at the end he himself would be a castaway.
The Bible speaks very little about the Creation so I hardly think we would be held accountable for misunderstanding the Genesis account. The Bible was more of a book of religion rather than history or science. Manufacturing writing materials, copying and preserving it was very difficult back then... so only religious concepts were focused on, while history or the creation were only touched upon lightly.
All Christians stumble and fall from time to time. They only forfiet their salvation is they fall and refuse to get back up... in other words refuse to repent of their sins when they know they are sinning, and persist and die in their sins. Grace is given to those who sincerely try to obey God, while peril awaits the heedless.

Each day we all sin. You should ask for forgiveness of sin and repent. Repent means to try to avoid doing that sin again.
It is my belief that the following scripture is proof that "once saved, always saved". John 10: 27-30

Once saved, always saved is not a concept that is supported by the Bible.
Galatians 5:4 “You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.”
1 Corinthians 10:12 “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”
The Bible does not teach a person can never be lost once he is saved. In fact, the Prodigal Son is a perfect example of a son who left the Father and was dead and lost in sinful rebellion (Lk. 15:24). The younger son chooses to leave the safety of his father’s house to lead a life of sin and waste. To return to the father, the son must make a decision to repent and turn back to his father. While the son is leading an ungodly life, he is considered lost by his father. The application for us is that once we are Christians we can choose to leave the security of the house of God and be lost to our heavenly Father.

I guess if you believe in the bible literally you would need to repent...although even that depends on what variation of an organized religion you are...each has it's own interpretations of what the bible means...you can talk to 5 different people about the same scripture and get 5 different answers on what the meaning of that one scripture is.
I say as long as you are a good person and not out harming others live and let live you are fine.
