It's basically a company that makes gem stones out of the remains of our loved ones and/or pets...

I put this in weddings because I wondered about using this gem for an engagement ring... You know how some rings get passed from generation to generation...

Oh, I'm not doing it for me, I already have my rings, I was just curious about other peoples opinions. :)

I've heard of it, I've thought of it with my pets remains, but I'm a little iffy about the whole idea with regards to a person.

I've heard of and looked into it. My husband knew and agreed before he left for Iraq that should something happen, I would have one made. As far as if you thinking for an engagement ring, I don't think it's appropriate.

Interesting concept...I've known people who had their pet's remains sewn into a pillow or other stuffed item, but the gem idea is clever and another way to have your loved one (animal or human) with you forever.
Was Weddings really the best category for this?

I think the rings are very pretty, but it's exceedingly creepy to me...isn't my ring lovely? what is that, tanzanite? Nope, it's my dead mother....yuck....I really love my family, but turning them into a piece of jewelery just seems very wrong.
