he sit around and doesn't do anything all day. only when his come to the house he'll get up to go to the garage. thats it nothing else just for that why?

i understand what your going through! my grown *** father has a job, works every other week. the weeks that he has off, he just stays home watching the same shows on tv and maybe he will cook for himself. me personally he does this because his funds are real low to do anything else. nothing motivates him to go outside, not even to get his own mail. some men are just like that where they feel that they dont have to do anything becuase thier spose or kids or just some one is always picking up their slack. and i guess the comfort of his hand on the remote and a stogie is all he really needs.

There's a chance he's depressed. When I'm depressed I lie on the couch for days at a time and I know it upsets my kids sometimes but I just can't seem to stop it...

Ask him about his lack of energy level. Maybe he needs it brought to his attention. Could be depression or heart trouble.
