I am a firm believer in Messiah Yahshua, and I do NOT believe in the 'trinity', and here is why:
Commandment #1: Thou shalt have NO OTHER GODS BESIDE ME. There is two things to understand in this statement: 1)There is only ONE Creator, YHWH, the Father, to whom YAHSHUA ALWAYS POINTED TO(otherwise He would have been blaspheming), 2)there ARE other gODS(note: little g). Therefore, as Yahshua is the firstborn Son of God, we, as John wrote in his letters, are to be SONS of God.
So, now, there is not JUST 3, but A MULTITUDE. When you understand this, then there are a number of things that then come together: 1)The seed of Abraham being like STARS in the HEAVENS, 2)how WE can be ONE with YAHSHUA and the Father, hence 3)we come together in unity AS ONE MAN.
So, God is then both a singular 'entity' creator, and a MULTITUDE, far more than just 3.
If that is too complicated for you, I'll pose a simple question:
If we are to BAPTIZE in the name of the 'trinity', we know the name of the Father, and of the son, but what is the name of THE HOLY SPIRIT?
The trinity is simply not the truth in Yah's Kingdom.
Ooops, guess that doesn't answer the question. Came to the conclusion early in my walk, and I don't attend church.

I've not believed in the Trinity ever. I have, however, believed always in the 3 components of the "Trinity".

God is a Spirit. Holy Ghost is a Spirit...Therefore: God and the Holy Ghost are not separate.
Jesus is man, but God in flesh. This is the only separation in God, at least until the final days.

As a young child it always made sense that way. And didn't Christ tell us to be as little children? It's only as adults that we tend to complicate everything. I just always knew Christ and Heavenly Father were two separate beings.
