b12 gives you energy and helps boost your immune system.
vitamin e is used to strengthen hair and nails.
b complex is pretty much the same idea as b12.
beta carotene is for keen eyesight.
amino acids are for strong muscles, and strong hair, and hair growth.
ginseng is for immune system boost and an energy boost, and metabolism booster.

Well, I think beta carotene gets converted into vitamin A in your body.
B-Complex Vitamins would probably be what is giving you energy. I think they are responsible for maintaining cell function as well. Not sure. Go to this website, it has all the answers your looking for.

The amino acids - you'll probably do best to look them up individually

B-complex just means a mixture of the B group vitamins

Try Rhodiola Rosea (Siberian Golden Root) if you need more energy.

Ginkyo Biloba is also good for alertness.
