nope, Man did
but the funny thing is, that no matter how many denominations there are, all with their own creeds and laws
there is only 1 set to follow, but man acts like God here on earth
God is God, not a religion

If one is a believer, God did create all things including one of his biggest mistakes, making man. Then the smarter man determined he could control others by acting in the name of God so beliefs were developed, which we now call religions. Then others, who were not happy with the teachings decided to break away and thus created another way of worship. A long winded way to say man created religions.

EXCELLENT AND THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTION HERE!! its not just a yes and no either.. I cannot just QUOTE TOU OUT OF THE BIBLE every text ., mmm making it short .. GOD took a man ABRAM AT THE TIME and set him aside as an instrument to bless cause he was obediant.

NO he was not perfect but willing to be led . that makes a great leader. willingness to follow and be corrected when u err, . HE SET ASIDE HIS CHILDREN SO AS TO SHOW OTHER nations around them WHAT would happen if u were obediant to GOD.
THEY WERE TO BE A LIGHT SO OTHER NATIONS COULD SEE THE BENIFITS OF DOING THINGS as GOD diected..
THE THING IS that isreal wound up in trouble following the gods OF OTHER NATIONS AND DESERTING the one and only true GOD. ,
God GAVE THEM prophets or sears as they were known in the old testament times to guide them,. AT times they listened but after a while when they prospered THEY WOULD THINK THAT THEY DID ALL this themselves and leave GOD and worship things that they could see!..
TRADTIONS ALSO PLAYED A BIG ROLE AND WHEN U DO THIS U LOSE TRACK OF REALITY . by the time JESUS WAS BORN THEY HAD SOO MUCH LOST TRACK OF THE TRUTH , they crucified their creator ..
.. SOMETIMES THOSE THAT WOULD GET UPSET WOULD LEAVE THE TRUTH and of course misery loves company they take others along with them and a new truth was soon established or today a new church or denomination was born .. THE bible says adam was created in GODS likeness but when sin entered in and adam had a son , the son was born in his image.. down through the corriders of time truth gets mingled with error and soo many dont know what is truth and what is error... .. if i can help in any small way drop me a note.. MJ;PS .. SORRY IF THIS IS A BIT LONG TOO

That is a really good question. Okay... different religions come from something very precious that God gave to us... it's called free will. Yes, God is the creator of all things, but what one has to remember is that God created everything in its start when he created the universe, earth, etc. God was the creator of man. He gave man free will to choose whom they would serve. Serving anyone else besides God resulted/s in eternity in hell. Other religions didn't come from God, they came from creations of God that were given the right to choose. Does this help you?

Religion is a man-made concept that codifies how we should relate to God. Different interpretations of just how we should do this led to the creation of different religions. It is my own belief that God would rather that all religions be abolished in favor of a personal relationship with Him. It certainly would lead to less conflict. How many wars are the result of one party thinking that their interpretation is more valid than another's interpretation? The whole history of Middle Eastern conflict is based on that issue.

God created most things but religion is all our own work. Can't blame Him for that one.

As there is one God, called by different names and understood differently by different cultures, all the world's great religions are essentially one. Religion is progressively revealed through universal educators including Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, Muhammad, The Bab, and today Baha'u'llah, much like knowledge is progressively revealed to us in school. Our teachers are essentially one in that they have the same basic knowledge and function for us. It is our capacity however that limits what can be given us at a particular time.

The spiritual teachings of religion are renewed from age to age and expanded, however the social teachings are replaced with new laws and admonitions suitable to the stage of an ever-advancing civilization. Today we are making the difficult but necessary paradigm shift from nation-building to planet-building.

God gave us free will. We created different religions, and keep doing so even He told us there is no other gods. He is the one true God.

MAN created religion. All religion is man made. Christianity, in its purest form, is the true way to God. Belief in Jesus Christ's ability to forgive sins and save is the way to go. He is God's only son and came to same the world. Jesus never fails.

It depends on your view of God.

I myself believe God created us, and gave us some laws to live by (basic laws of many different religons). But he also gave us free will.

So because different things happened to differet groups of people they explained them through religon. As people thousands of years ago were separated each religon became a bit differet to where they are today.

Awesome question
