Sort of. According to Islam they're the same, but obviously Christians don't believe in a god who spoke to Muhammad, so they generally consider them to be different. A bit like how Christians consider Jesus to be the same God that Jews worship, whereas Jews don't.

Yes Allah is simply a term. The same Term Arabic Christians use for Jesus, God the Father and the Holy Spirit. The term Allah predates the English term God by about 500 years.

The Muslim and Christian view of God have many similarities. Muslims and Christians agree that there is one God who is the Creator of everything in the universe. Both view God as sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, holy, just, and righteous. In these ways, Christians and Muslims worship the same God. However, there are also significant differences between Islam and Christianity’s view of God. While Allah (Allah is the Muslim and Arabic word for God) possesses the attributes of love, mercy, and grace, Allah does not demonstrate these attributes in the same manner as the biblical God acts.

The most important difference, though, between the Muslim and Christian view of God is the concept of the Trinity. Christians believe that God has revealed Himself as one God in three Persons: God the Father, the Son of God (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.

The term Allah means : God, its the arabic word of God. That is why Muslims says Allah and means same as God. But there is only one God.
The Quran speaks of Adam- the first human creation of Allah-, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Joseph, Aron, Zacariah, etc. as Prophets of God (Allah). And muslims Believe in them as Prophets of Allah and the last and final Prophet is Muhammah (Peace Be upon him)...
So there is a connection between christians and Muslims and it is one thing.... We believe that Adam, Noah, Aron, Moses, Abraham, Jesus are all Prophets of God that bring the message to mankind.

No, Allah is not the Biblical God of Abraham.

Phonetic similarities in syllables do not constitute similarities in the characters and attributes of anyone, much less God.

In the Old Testament God promised to be faithful to both Isaac and Ishmael, but the greater promise was given to Isaac. Isaac is the progenitor of the Jews, Ishmael is the progenitor of the Arabs.

In the Qur'an, Muhammad teaches that it is Allah's will to kill Jews. These two directives cannot be from the same Supreme Being .

No. Allah is one of the ancient pagan gods of Mecca. There is no connection to the true G-d of Abraham.

Only if Muslims practice Judaism. Which if they believe in the same God, they should. Otherwise, using prophets that follow the lineage of Isaac is heresy, such as David, Elijah, Jonah, etc.

No, Islam developed from Judaism, as did Christianity. Abraham was a nomad from Ur, he was the first to make a convenant with G-d and as such is one of the patriarchs of Judaism.
