I have had terrible luck with girls lately (see my history.) I am home schooled because of the local school system, but I am very normal. I buy normal clothes, do normal things, etc. However, not one of the loads of girls I know seem to think of me as someone they could date, again see my history. I am getting the impression that is is not because I am home schooled but purely because I don't go to THEIR school and therefore wouldn't be a status symbol for them. My question is, does this get better? Is there an age when girls are looking for more in a guy than abs and a popularity boost?

I'm not sure how old you are, but when I was growing up a lot of girls liked dating guys in their school so they could see then during the day. When they were old enough to really date...say age 16 or 17...then it didn't matter so much because they could go out and see their boyfriend on the weekends. Try not to worry to much about having a girlfriend right now. Just concentrate on studying.

When people date in high school, they choose someone who goes to their school so they can see the person on a regular basis and show off their partner. This will change when you're out of school; while there will always be people who are shallow, maturity levels tend to increase after graduation and people start looking for good partners.

well maybe the reason they aren't dating you is because they see you as more of a friend then a boy friend? maybe you should take a breather and just have fun don't try to rush into a relationship... just wait and she'll find you
