not delt with child services or you would know their is no hidden information the school has lost funding for my child when we home schooled them and they informed child services that we are neglecting our kids education but unlike workers and teachers we have fought for 4 years to get help in class for him and have never recieved any from the school board as at the same time the school sent him home every half hour because they couldnt handle him but wouldnt allow us to be in class to reduce the interjection needed by his teacher

wow - if you were in charge of your child's education I would charge you with neglect too. Your grammar and language skills are horrible.
Get a lawyer you obviously need some help communicating.

How come I am not surprised? The school does loose government funding every day that a child who is registered to go to that school doesn't show up. At the same time social services should be bending over backwards to help find either a school or give you what you need to home school him or some other kind of help the child needs. If SS is not helping, they should be ashamed of themselves, and they say you're neglecting his education? I have dealt with SS in the past and they only made things worse.

I'm not certain what the legal guidelines are in Canada. Here in the United States we have what is called IDEA Individual with Disabilities Education Act. This law protects those wtih disabilites and ensures them an appropriate education within the public school system. IEP or Individual Education Plans must be implemented, those who design it for each individual child with a disability include the Special Education Team, the Parent, regular classroom teachers, specialists if desired, etc. This document ensures that your child receives the services and modifications within the school system so that your child can receive an adequate and appropriate education.

I would think that Canada with have a similiar education act. My suggestion in your current situation would be to contact an attorney who specializes in family law as well as education law. He/she will be best equipped to inform you of your legal rights as well as your best course of action. You might also want to try searching legal references for disabilities, educational rights, home schooling law in your area, etc.

Best of luck.

To deal with the allegations from the school, you will need to have an atty to help you with child services. If you cant afford one, legal aid will be able to help you. Make sure you have documentation of what occured when your child was in school. Sounds like you have a special needs child and need some local resources to help you rather than punish you. Home schooling may not be the answer for him but you need to know what your other options are.

What does your lawyer say? He should have all of your information and all of your own documents! Then there would be no denying of anything on the schools behalf!
