I want to take him out, but not feel uncomfortable. He likes pool, but they are always in bars.

go to the serenity club in cudahy if you or he is in recovery i live just oustide mil and am in revovery my self thay have pool and video games you mite wont to call them since you are not a member it is a recovery club tell tham what is going on i am sure it will be ok with them

Most colleges have a rec area with pool tables, foose ball, etc. and there is no alcohol. I don't think you have to have a student ID either. I remember when I lived in Miami, I was always going to the rec center to play pool. So, if you have any colleges near by, give them a try,

I just find it humorous, in a sad way, that we now have to search in order to find out how to have a good time without alcohol. If that doesn't prove that we have a problem, nothing will.

look on line for a pool hall in the area. they usually do not serve booze.

i would take him out to dinner and then take him bolwling or to the city. its a great place to have some fun with no alcohol
