I bought it for 69.99 plus shipping and handling and has been used 3x and this is the guitar i'm going to be learning on.

From what I've seen of Johnson instruments generally, they're decent beginner level instruments; not great but good enough to get you started. I think they're made in China. Hard to know if you got a good deal though, without knowing what you bought and how much you paid.

They're a reasonable quality instrument, but what is there about your guitar that is causing you to doubt it ? As long as the strings don't rattle, or are not a great distance from the neck, and as long as the octaves are in tune (open string, same string at 12th fret makes an octave) and the bridge is attached securely, it should be OK. For your next guitar, though, go to your local music shop and try before you buy.. Hope this helps.

They're fair, not great, not bad. Having said that, I have a Johnson metal body resonator guitar that is GREAT which I bought for less than $250!

No one's touched your Johnson since 1993? And I thought mine was neglected.. To sell this on consigment costs about 15% of the selling price. I'd give you about $50.
