I think there is only one God.
People choose different names, which prophets they believe are "true" and methods of worship for that God-- and then want to destroy or damn to hell all who don't agree with the stuff they made up. When this life ends a whole lot of us are going to be pissed because we got it wrong- I may be one of them- who can define a mystery?

No. Look at what each religion claims their God to have said and done. It is not logical that each is speaking of the same god.

Jews and Muslims worship the same God whom Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob,Moses, Jesus and Mohammad worshipped.

Unfortunately Christians have made Jesus their god.

So they worship Jesus son of Mary as their god and that is not acceptable to God.

Christians do not worship the God that all great men of God
(listed above) used to worshipped.

This is the basic difference between Muslims, Jews and
Christians.

Difference between Jews and Muslims is that Jews believe in all Prophets except Mohammad because he was Arab and not a Jew.

Whereas Muslims believe in all Prophets whom Jews believe and they believe Mohammad is also the Prophet of God.
Mohammad is also the Last Prophet of God. No any Prophet has or will ever come after Mohammad (PBUH)

many Abrahamic monotheists claim to, in some way or another.

but even within denominations/sects/etc I question if this is actually the case: Is George W really following the same god as Forrest Church? Did Jerry Falwell and John Paul II follow the same god? Same texts, vastly different outcomes.

I say this because of my Christian grandmother, a kind, decent, caring, nonjudgemental person. I see very few Chrsitians following the same god she did.

No. Monotheism is a belief in one god but the term does not specify which one.

yes, they do, but in the same time no. christains and muslims believe in the same God, but have different aspects of what God has to offer and have in heaven. for example the christains beleive that God send his son to die for us and anyone who were to believe that goes to heaven to be him. the same thing with muslims, but they have to work their way to heaven and kill people for God and when they die they get 40 virgens in heaven, but it never was specific about the virgens, so u might get girls or guys. u see now that they are the same Gods, but differnet aspects of Him.
