No what you have to do is bunch the parent in the face not the kid.... also there are bumper stickers that say "My kid beat up your honor roll student." Why don't you get that...

Oh my gosh! Wow! You couldn't have said it better... sometimes when I see those I just want to punch the parents and the kid... I have never thought about why though.

I think I am a little crazy, and a little jealous that my parents never got to drive around with that bumper sticker on their car. Yet again, over-achiever kids piss me off so bad... I don't know why either. It makes me think of perfectionism... which I hate... and people who drive around wearing "Oh, look at my perfect life!" just make me mad.

I guess I don't know really how to put it... but you get it.

I was an honour student. My parents never felt the need to brag about it on their bumpers. Instead they taught me humility and hard work. And because they took the time to do this, I knew they were proud.

I hate those bumper stickers.

Why kick the kid? I'd kick his parents for being so corny as to have that bumper sticker on their car...

Haha, that's pretty funny. People take things WAY too seriously on here. But, you should kick the parents instead of the kid.

If it's an elementary school...how hard is it really to be an honor student? Food for thought :)

um....i actually agree with you. it isn't wrong. i don't think its because you're jealous. i'd want to kick the parents more though. its like an attitude of "my kids better than all the others ones in the world not in honors". besides, honors is just ridiculous and it means SQUAT. there are BRILLIANT minds in regulars classes who either don't want a lot of work, don't care, or are very intelligent but boo hoo they got bored reading "x plus fourty two" on a piece of paper with little bubbles to fill in. i can't explain it, but i know exactly what you mean.
