I currently live in Atlanta, GA. Even though the city is rapidly growing and the cost of living is going up; people's incomes are not, unfortunately. I have been out of college since 2004 and have recently been in search of a position that will pay me a minimum of $30,000; $40,000 is preferred. This has been the most difficult thing ever. Companies honestly only want to pay between $23,000 and $28,000. Any suggestions as to what I can do to find the position that I want. I do plan on going back to grad school, but would like a little money in my pocket to take care of expenses. Anything under $30,000 is not going to do that. Help!

Look at Salary.com
It's a great site. It's free if you use the basics, which will tell you how much your EXPECTED to make in your area. not that you will (I didn't make $30K as a receptionist for a fortune 500 company so I am not sure where they get it from, unless its based on years at the jobs).

Try it out and just see whats out there!

Hi! Work at a $30,000 or less job and start an online business for free. One of my best friends (he has my same name) owns a dating site and he is making lots of money.would you like to own any type of dating site that won't cost you a dime? A dating site that has real profiles for your customers to search as soon as you create it? If you do ,go to: www.alessandro.mylovewebsite.com and click on the link at the end of the page that says " looking for partners in and around santa clara". You can create one even if your not from santa clara. Your job is to advertise your site and make money. I wish you the best and hope that my answer helped you some way. Bye and have a nice day.

If you have the skills and qualifications to get a job paying $30-40K then keep looking. You don't say what field you are looking in, how long you have been looking, or what you were doing in the 3+ years since you graduated. If the jobs you are qualifying for pay $23-28K, then maybe taking one close to $28K and working your way up would be a good idea - you'd probably be over $30K in a couple years.

Good luck.

Preachers regularly settle for a love offering from a church while they're aked to evangelise. If, certainly, it somewhat is an somewhat admired, in call for preacher, i'm specific he could desire to be paid for traveling costs and such. If it have been a admired rock megastar coming to do a stay overall performance you will anticipate to pay them. in simple terms by using fact somebody's profession is preaching do you no longer think of they'd desire to be paid? Come on, preachers would desire to generate income to and we would desire to continuously pay them. you need to continuously sound off and donate it slow worldwide..won't feed the kinfolk yet however the be conscious will pass out!

You should register with a local employment agency or a headhunter to find a suitable position at your salary level.
