No, it's because he supports legislation that supports certain religious groups, and this is something that clearly violates the Constitution. Also, he is hated for his arrogance, his ignorance, and his indifference. It also doesn't help matters that almost immediately after the 9/11 attacks took place, he focused on invading a country that was in no way involved in the attacks instead of bringing the actual culprit (bin Laden) to justice. Plus, insteading of reducing the global terrorist threat, he has actually exacerbated it, because the war in Iraq has become a cause celebre among the Islamic fundamentalists and now a whole new generation of terrorists is being bred. Oh, and did I also mention that he turned Clinton's surplus into a record deficit?

NO, absolutely not. I don't like him and I think Christianity may be the only thing he has going for him. People don't like him because he made some bad calls i/e iraq, brownie, new orleans and the economy. The I am the decider comment didn't help, he is NOT the decider, the US is a democracy not a dictatorship. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe every US President has been a Christian, some of them loved some not so much.

What Beliefs!

No, I don't hate him because of his beliefs. In fact, I don't hate him at all. You need to find another church!

The reason I have no use for him is simple. When I was in Viet Nam getting shot at, and wounded, Bush was hiding out in the Texas Air National Guard, and when he went to Alabama he didn't even show up for his required service.

That's called Desertion. And in a time of war, Desertion is punishable by death!

Today, he has created a war that has taken thousands of good people's lives, wasted Billions of our dollars, completely destroyed this country's reputation and status throughout the world ... and for what!

Gee, come to think of it ... I wish he were a Christian.

Educate yourself. You're clearing not getting intelligent guidance from that preacher.

Bush is "hated" because while he says he is Christian, his actions show greed, ignorance, arrogance, an uncanny ability to twist the truth, a liar, he stated a war and sent young men and women into combat to serve his own needs. Its been proven the reasons he gave to go to war were lies. He spends billions on the war and does not take care of the veterans...or children who still go hungry every night. He should be impeached and prosecuted for war crimes. I believe he is a sociopath. This country will finally start to heal when he is gone (I hope its not too late)

I can only speak for myself. I don't "hate" Bush; I don't like him, and it's because of the type of person he is, and what he's done to this country and others. He's a zealot, a hypocrite, a pathological liar, a bloodthirsty warmonger, an all-around irresponsible idiot, and a would-be dictator who'd be running this country as a theocracy, if he could get away with it.

(As an agnostic, I don't hate Christians. I just don't like Christian zealots. They're hypocrites and they can be dangerous - every bit as dangerous as Islamic zealots.)

To the contrary, he rode the Christian vote right into the white house. Below the Bible Belt, they love bush. The hatred of Bush is usually fueled by his bad decisions and overall incompetency.

no, i think that it is because he changes his mind alot and not stick to what the people want... He doesn't care for the middle class through his actions but what he says is a different matter... I don't think that his beliefs are what makes us mad it is his behavior. If he stuck to Christian beliefs, the world would be a better place

He is hated for a thousand reasons, and his false Christian beliefs are in the forefront. He professes to have been told by God to invade Iraq. If any man on earth believes that, then they must also believe God told him to destroy all that is good about America, to take away our rights, to reward the rich with more wealth, to take away from the poor what they don't have to give, to destroy the environment, and generally to be a Destroyer of the earth. Bush is the most hated president in the history of our nation for countless reasons.

If I considered Bush to be a good Christian, then I would also have to consider Osama bin laden to be a good Muslim.

He is hated because he is a horrible president and not a very good person. His Christian beliefs have nothing to do with it.. All of our presidents have had Christian beliefs and none have been as hated as Bush.
