I'm a 29 year old female, 135 pounds- the perfect weight for my 5'8" height. Trouble is, I'm always hungry!! I can eat an omelette at 8am (with veggies, toast and milk) and still be hungry at 10:30. I've recently switched to a large bowl of oatmeal, a large bowl or fruit covered in yogurt (not fat-free), orange juice or milk, and a cup of coffee. STILL I'm hungry by 10.
I really do want to not feel like I'm starving before it's even lunch time as it distracts me from my work!!
Any ideas on gut-filling breakfasts??

Well, it could be that your body is wanting different vitamins or that you are doing emotional eating to fill a psychological emptiness.
Here are some good ideas:
1. Do something that gets your heart rate up a bit like, walking, running, biking, and swimming.
2. Eat Whole, Organic foods like: Broccoli, Cabbage, Organic Brown Rice, Beans, Spinach, Sweet Potato, Apples, and other fruits and vegetables in their Natural State.
3. Avoid eating corn, white bread, white rice, candy, sodas, chips, and anything else that you already know you shouldn’t be eating.
4. Drink clean water as your beverage of choice. Avoid Fruit drinks and fruit juices (unless YOU juice them yourself)
5. Stop smoking, drinking beer & wine, and drinking coffee.
6. Get 8 hours of sleep each night.
7. Hang out with people who want to be healthy.
8. Avoid anything with High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Tone up the muscles:
1. Join a gym and get a trainer.
2. If you’re short on cash, start a light stretching & yoga regimen.
3. Do push-ups, and light dumbbell curls for the upper body.
4. As I said above, walk, run, swim, and or bike
5. Take an aerobics class, a yoga class, or some other fitness class.
6. Join the local YMCA..
Mental Health:
1. Get a friend to talk to each day about your feelings.
2. If you have some money or insurance, get a counselor to talk to.
3. Learn how to meditate.
4. Join a support group for the issue you’re dealing with.
5. Ask your Higher Self (or God) for guidance.
6. Start keeping a diary or journal about your feelings & thoughts.
7. Write a ‘gratitude’ list every night.
8. Do something that makes you happy each day like: listen to your favorite music, draw, paint, write, or anything creative.
9. Do something for someone else who needs help.

Snaks are okay, although if add protein supplements to your meal (like in a yogourt or something) you fill feel that you can go on for much longer.
Fact of the matter is not the quantity you eat but what you eat.
I used to eat 36 ounce steaks, and I've managed to change everything in my previous consumption. I'm 5'10 male 37 years old and 165 pounds - so I guess it works out pretty well ;-)

you have a rapid metabolism, if you get hungry by 10, then have a healthy snack at that time, it won't hurt and it will balance your blood sugars so you won't over eat at lunch time. a small piece of fruit, or a couple of graham crackers are ideal. Half a cup of yogurt would be fine too.

I eat fruit and nut muesli and it fills me up.
Dried non-salted mixed nuts are also very good.
Bananas are very filling - try slicing one on top of your breakfast oatmeal.
Drink plenty of water or herbal teas.
Perhaps you just have a fast metabolism or are very active and your food is being burned off very quickly.

try some healthy snacks to take the edge off of your appetite.
Carrots are good, just get something in your stomach so it is not empty.
So when you start getting these pains at 10:00 take a snack.
