To a christian it is black and white. For or against. Unlike those of other religions they demand to everyone, regardless of your beliefs, must accept their concepts as the only ones. Anything else is a threat. Notice that they have made every attempt to rewrite histoy, Geology and even basic science to fit their agenda. Basically they are striving to turn the United states from a nation ruled by laws based on original "Common Law" to being rules they their selective interpretation of the bible - just like islamic nations. They demonstrate how dangerous religion has become. they also demonstrate that Muslims are not the only people who commit acts or terror to force compliance with their warped beliefs. By the way, The lact JC did not claim anything except that his followers - and all people - should follows the laws of his father (Jewish law since JC was a jew). He did preach about peace, love, compassion and charity. He did claim to be the son of the father but to Jews of that time, Abraham was "the Father". Have you noticed that Jews don't get into these religious discussions. What christians forget is that Jews, not christians, are the chosen ones.

Because that's pretty much how it comes down. Neutrality where God is concerned isn't a position supported in the Bible -- from the time Joshua gathered all the tribes and very pointedly said "choose this day whom you will serve ... as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" to Jesus himself laying it out plainly in Luke 11:23: "He who is not with me is against me".

From a Christian perspective, then, at this point you are "against" Christ -- but obviously not in the sense of complete opposition in an antagonistic way. You're in the process of deciding what to believe about Jesus and his claims, so you are on one side of the fence with believers on the other. The fence itself, though, is not a position one can take.

Well, yeah ... by default.

For us there is either God or satan. There's no middle ground. If you haven't accepted Jesus as your only way to salvation, then by default, you've chosen satan who's kinda scummy.

You say you don't know what really happened. None of us do. We weren't eyewitnesses. But those who were there have written about it. It's all in the bible.

Don't know if you want to believe the bible? Then look deeply into your own heart. You will find Jesus there.

Nietzsche famously said that "the last Christian died in the cross." The self-proclaimed followers of this faith validate this assertion with their intolerance of other viewpoints. It is possible to think that Jesus actually lived and was a good man, but still be free to doubt his divinity.

If you do not make the choice to be with Christ Jesus, you automatically are against. There is no in between area. Either you are or you are not. By not being for, you automatically default to against.

Like being pregnant, you are either pregnant or not, there is no in between, nor can you be a little bit pregnant.

If you do not believe the claims of Jesus, you have no faith in him. If you have no faith in him, you can not make the choice for him or to believe on him, therefore, you by your being neutral, make the choice against him.

Revalation 3:6
American Standard Version
So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.

This means that you should be one way or the other - not in between. Middle of the road doesn't cut it w/ Jesus. Either you are for him or against him.

Because God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, whosoever believeth in him shall have everlasting life... Only though Jesus can you enter Heaven. Being neutral can damn you to hell and that's not an end I hope for you...

Because there is no middle ground when it comes to Good & evil. Since Jesus is the embodiment of Holiness, if you are not with Him, you are against Him.

Because Jesus said the same thing. When His apostles saw some people outside their circle doing good in Jesus' name, the apostle wanted to stop them, but Jesus retorted, "anyone who is for us, is NOT against us".
