Jesus did have brothers (Luke 8 v 19)... no big deal.

The bible doesn't comment on Jesus being married or not. It does say that he had brothers and we'd have to assume the possibility of sisters - the Bible tends to be sexist and only mentions females when it has to.

A strict interpretation would be that Jesus' wife, children, and siblings were not important to the message and therefore are irrelevant. Those that think that saying he had one or more of these is a lie are just reacting to something that they haven't thought through or have made false assumptions about.

Your tale is extra convincingly advised than the story of Noah and the worldwide Flood. And any tale in any respect is extra convincing than Harold tenting's thoughts proper to the international ending. the two some weeks lower back, AND in 1994! Who can we touch, to get your tale into the Bible, and get Noah's out?

MARY WAS NOT PERPETUAL VIRGIN

Gal 1:19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

James was from the same womb of Mary.

From G1 (as a connective particle) and δελφύς delphus (the womb); a brother (literally or figuratively) near or remote (much like [H1]): - brother.

No demi-gods, as they all came from ordinary generation, union of Joseph with Mary. Just like you and I

There is no "big deal" in the fact that Jesus had brothers, a father on earth and a mother. It does become quite a Big Deal when people try to say he was married, as this goes against everything written about him in the Bible. He was crucified, rose again and returned to heaven to judge the human race, both then and in times to come. To say he had a wife is not only a contradiction, but ludicrous to the idea of Christianity.

It would not matter, that is why there would have been no reason to hide it.

Fact is that he did not. Strange times when deep "theology" comes from admitted fictional conspiracy theories.

To find the truth, look at Historical and Biblical accounts, looking at admitted fiction will not enlighten you about the life of Jesus any more than reading Moby Dick will enlighten you about economics.

Peace be with you.

His mother did have more children and no they were not demigods.

If Jesus had been married that too would not change who He was and what He came to do.

*EDIT

What only one thumbs down this time?... Someone must be on a coffeebreak.

YAY! You came back!

I could consider him more ' human' if he HAD a wife, kids and family members.... a 33 yr old man without any of that is a little weird to me.....especially since there is no law in Jewish culture about a man remaining celibate....

They don't like to think of Jesus being in any way 'ordinary' cos he was speshull.
