Yes. They are both opposing sides to a question, and both are rarely subscribed to 100% by either side.

Well, theist versus atheist is generally a personal belief. I couldn't care less about somebody being theistic or not.

Conservative versus liberal is something that concerns everybody, because it DOES make a difference whether a country is run liberal or conservative.

In that sense - no, I don't think they're much a like.

P.S. If you don't just mean "believer" but "religious person" versus non-religious ... maybe. But even then, no religion isn't exactly a statement as liberal or conservative is ... closest would perhaps be "one religion versus another". I think that might be similar ...

Yes, I think that's about the gist of it.

I'm a moderate, so it was...interesting getting stuck in the war between liberals and conservatives.
