I am buying house in PA, and have no clue if I need to got to a PA tax preparer or my regular preparer in MD?! I understand that it may or not not be a big difference since I'm moving so close to the end of the year.

Ask your previous tax professional to recommend someone. It is also possible, with some tax firms, to go online and choose a specific tax professional based on their tax knowledge.
It's probably better to go ahead and file where you actually live, because if there is missing information, or something else that requires more than one trip to the office, you could be stuck if you've made a special out-of-town trip. I do returns for some folks who moved but still want me to do the return, but it can get complicated.

Either one could do your taxes. You'll file one federal return for the entire year,a MD state return as a part-year resident there, then if you have any income in PA (over $33) you'll file a PA state return also as a part-year resident.

You will probably have to file returns with both states as a partial-year resident. Typically, to determine the tax your income is apportioned according to how many months you were a resident of each state.
