No more preposterous than a man being CREATED from DIRT... Or a woman being CREATED from that man's RIB... Or a snake TALKING with that woman... Or a man killing a LION with the jawbone of a DONKEY.... Or a man pushing on a couple of temple pillars and COLLAPSING the ENTIRE TEMPLE... Or a man PARTING an OCEAN... Or that same man CONVERSING with a BURNING BUSH... Or a woman turning into a "pillar of SALT"... Or a young virgin being IMPREGNATED by some UNSEEN FORCE... Or a man feeding a crowd of THOUSANDS with a few loaves of bread and some small fishies... Or that same man DYING then coming BACK TO LIFE three days later...
I could go on and on. Don't get me wrong: the stories in the Bible are interesting, and they've got some good lessons to them. But they're about as factual as "Grimm's Fairy Tales".

You could be right but it's not nearly as weird and preposterous as believing that there's an invisible man in the sky who flapped his arms or his nose or his wand when he woke up bored one day and 'created' the universe and everything in it ... outa nothing.
You gotta be on some serious drugs to believe that stuff.
I hope you're not abusing drugs.
They're really not good for you.
The Freedom of Reality is quite nice and gets easier with practice.

That is indeed preposterous. It is also a fundy LIE about how evolution works. The reality is nothing at all like that, and it's my opinion that you are well aware of it, but find evolutionary theory so threatening to your teenytiny god that you feel you have to perpetuate the untruth.

Preposterous, indeed. Is this some new religion I haven't heard of? I suppose it's no more preposterous than water-into-wine, raising from the dead, and transubstantiation.

Okay, first off, it's not just atheists who believes in Evolution.
Secondly, you have to be joking, cos' that's nowhere near how evolution works. If you're serious, I suggest you go do some research.
Ever see the South Park episode "go god go"? This question remands me of that episode.

I would think that was preposterous. Fortunately, that has nothing to do with how evolution works.
Don't you think it's preposterous that an imaginary being simply created everything?

Well it's certainly less preposterous than a virgin giving birth to a god.

Well if you want to take things out of the context of evolution like that then it would seem strange .You are manipulating the premise of evolution to fit your argument. It happened slowly over millions of years .Time for you to go back to school.
