Yes, I know about Islam. I'm married to a Muslim. I have also read much of the Quran.
It's yet another old religious superstition.

Islam is a religion of peace.
The prophet said when asked if one word could define his new religion that "Tolerance" would be that one word.
A great Sufi Saint in Mesopatania (female) walked about with burning coals in one bowl and a bowl of water when asked she would say the water is to put out the fires of hell and the coals to burn up heaven so that people would not be dazzeled by heaven and terrified by hell so that they may practice now in the present.
In India about 700 years ago a great saint was held by Muslims to be a Muslim Saint and by Hindu's to be a Hindu Saint. When he died both sets of followers fought over his coffin, (Muslims must be buried & Hindu's must be burned) the coffin fell the lid fell off and the coffin was found to be full of flowers, everyone was happy, the Muslims buried half the flowers and the Hindu's Burned their half.
The Prophet said that God is beyond comprehension and not conceivable by the human mind, this is a very profound statement.

Not enough. I know enough not to think Islam or Muslim's are all evil. I know that because of a minority of fanatic's it has gotten a very undeserved bad reputation. I know enough to know I'm not as educated as I would like to be on Islam, but at the same time will not attack others whose faith is different from my own.

Enough to know it was centuries ahead of it's time.
"... All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.... O People! No Prophet or Apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People! And understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, Al-Qur'aan and my Sunnah (i.e., sayings, deeds, and approvals) and if you follow these you will never go astray..."
- [Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) Last Sermon]

Along with most other religions including those in Christendom they are a false religion. You can tell them by their fruits Jesus said. If everyone in that religion or even most of them do things that are bad, then that is false religion.
By using different avatars and answering your own question in a positive light towards muslims does not help your cause.
People have already caused that religion to be thought of negetively. The people in that religion have brought reproach on it and are the ones responsible for its bad reputation.
