What is the whole concept of this book?
was it supposed to be written by Aliens?

I have read this book and no it was not written by aliens. No matter how "alien" the following will sound to you it was "dictated" by a number of different spiritual beings among them Archangels and Seraphim. If you are interested in finding out more about its origin I would suggest that you should make a search on the Internet. There are many things written about the book. Wikipedia alone has an extensive article on it. The purpose of this book as the authors state is to clear up some misconceptions and provide a more clear view of the world, the cosmos if you prefer, we live in (they describe it as the Fifth Epochal Revelation. You can learn about the other four reading the book). One third of this book is about the life and the teachings of Jesus including the lost years. The rest of the book covers various topics such as philosophy, cosmology, theology, sociology, history, science etc.

i have this book! somewhere...
yes, supposed to have been written by 'aliens'. this take is that Urantia is actually Earth, it's old-name. there are even chapters about jesus. i never read the whole thing; kinda wacky, but interesting, none-the-less.

Just read the foreward of the book. It is some weird stuff.

Just another twisted attempt at trying to rewrite the Word of God, the Holy Bible. Similar to the Koran, the Book of Mormon and the new Jehovah Witness translation of the Bible.
God said in the Holy Bible if any one presents a message different from the gospel let him be accursed.
This is another "man religion."

Not really sure as i have not had a chance to read it yet, but i do believe it is a collection of alternative theories.
