I was given one of his paintings that I absolutely adored as a child, and I have been trying to find out more about him ever since. But all I know is that he was born in Paris, died in Portugal and lived in Ecuador. I would love to know more about him and see more of his work, but I'm failing with the internet searches... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Yeah, I saw those, but the information given is really limited. And doesn't really expand anymore on where he lived. I found one sentence about the fact that he had studied with Picasso... but the information is somewhat limited.

Look for him in french language, then in portugese, then in Ecuador, then in spanish in yahoo answers.
