I'm glad you're thinking of quitting smoking, particularly smoking marijuana.

What would help you a lot, I think, would be to get a whole lot of people on your side about helping you quit.

You're going to have to let a bunch of your old friends know about this - and perhaps they would be nice enough friends to help you: not to offer you smokes, but to encourage your efforts to quit.

You should probably talk with your doctor. It might be harder to quit smoking weed than to quit normal cigarettes, because with normal cigarettes you can at least get nicotine replacement (patches or funny cigarette replacement things). Your doctor might be able to arrange some medication that can take the edge off cravings or agitation if you find that's troubling you.

It's also important to know that quitting like this is a really hard thing to do, and that lots of people find they can't handle it and go back to smoking. The people who deal with quitting smoking and such things call this "relapse" and it's very common. But the most important thing to know about relapse is that you never fail quitting smoking because you went and smoked again ... in fact you fail quitting smoking if you stop trying.

Most people who quit smoking (tobacco or weed) have relapsed and gone back to it. Then they tried again ... and they were better at it eventually. And they tried again ... and eventually they quit.

You should talk with some people you know who used to smoke and who quit. They might have some useful advice about this sort of thing for you.

I don't know if you have a QUIT-line for quitting cigarettes in your area, but we do in Adelaide. I wonder if it's worthwhile giving some services like that a call and seeing if they can point you in the direction of people who do manage quitting weed.

Marijuana is conveniently the "lightest" drug you'll use, its part results are very constrained and reason severe disorders when you apply it to a everyday foundation (There's this factor referred to as being top that does not support you do good in tuition...) Other than that, you would have one of the vital results of being top persist when you use weed an excessive amount of, finally, those results fade away, as for smoke inhalation, the cannabinoids have the talents to kill cancerous cells, e.g. you will not get lung melanoma off dope. The different viable part final result is oh-$hit-I'm-broke syndrome.
