Of course. My life's meaning is my family and my patients lives.

No, of course not. Rephrase the question. What was meant by your coming into existence? We use the words "meant" and "meaning" all the time and we always refer to a design or plan.
The fact that atheists believe in a plan yet reject a Planner just shows how difficult it is to think in terms of nothing having any purpose whatsoever.
Purpose and meaning are basically the same thing. We just use the word "purpose" to apply to things and "meaning" to apply to actions. Both presuppose an intelligent creator.
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (noted philosopher, mathematician, Nobel Laureate and atheist)

Yes, I think my life has meaning. It is not an externally created predetermined meaning though. My life has whatever meaning I chose to create for it. To be a the best sister, daughter, friend, mom, wife, etc... I can be. To create beauty or exhibt a perspective of the world through art. Or to contribute through career, volunteering, or charity to make the world a bit better. These are just examples. Other people can have their own unique meanings they give their lives.

I guess the atheists will have to answer this one. As a Christian I would think that an atheist would find it difficult to find a purpose in what they see as effectively a cosmic accident.
If there is no design I doubt there can be any purpose.

That's the purpose of being an atheist- living life for life, instead of for what a fairy tale book rambles about.

Hmm... how would you define that meaning?
The life of an atheist can mean anything - and its the atheist themselves that chooses their own purpose and walks their own path. That's the beauty of it.

You can be an atheist and also think anything you like, except that gods exist.

The whole point of being an atheist is so that you don't have to think!
That way, issues such as God and creation, religion and beliefs, can just be ignored as if they didn't exist.
The expression is 'Ignorance is bliss'
