Common names for these roses are;
Rosa Chinensis, the China rose, has the popular cultivar 'Mutabilis'

Rosa Gigantea has no common name because it is not in wide cultivation. There are a few cultivars, It is used by hyrbridisers to produce new yellow roses. In the wild it has several independent forms, both R. gigantea and R. macrocarpa, now considered one species with color variations.
