How long is milk good for if left out on the counter?

A gallon of Skim milk was left out on the counter last night ... not sure for exactly how long... 8 hours maybe. Is it still okay to drink?

It depends on the temp of the air. If your house is rather cold, then it could very well still be ok. I suggest putting it back in the frig and letting it get cold again, then smell it for a sour smell. If you smell this, throw it out.
