Like how was French, Arabic, English, Chinese, Kazakh, Russian, Uzbek, Pashtun, etc. etc. created? Who ever decided that the letter "e" would be a vowel in the English language? Who ever decided that Bonjour will mean "hello" in French?

How are languages created and who created them?

I can tell you that there was a language called Indo-european....which is related to modern day sanskrit....that language divided into 4 families.....germanic, romance, slavic, and ungaric? (the hungarian finnish and estonian languages) well the romance languages didn't appear until 930 a.d. so Latin was the mother to all those language (french,italian,occitan,catalan,portuguese,spanish,romanian,rumansh....etc)
but it takes many people to "create" their own language....Its happening today...we're creating new words and phrases soon english will not be english as we know today....it may branch to new language families?

After spending many years clubbing each other with tree branches and throwing rocks at each other mankind finally decided that it was time to develop a way of communicating. Language was then born but opposing sides all thought that their language was better than the others so they started to yell at each other which didn't work all that well so they went back to the clubbing until metal was developed and swords were used to hack at each other later came gun powder and you know the rest of the story.

Languages are the means of social bonding. Creating languages is a very complicated process. Languages are created by more than one person.
