I'm really upset lately. I'm being treated as if i'm not a collegue and don't know what to do.I've started a job as a accounts assistant 3 months.However i keep on making mistakes in entering data over and over again and the employer is getting really frustrated at me.I feel my collegues are beening really bossy and telling me what to do all the time.IWhat should i do, i'm very annoyed coz everyone in the office is not like this, only me.I might get sacked i ,dunno.What should i do to improve myself and have better communication skills between my collegues.I want them to treat me nicely.

Concentrate totally on work and try your best to reduce mistakes. Talk to your colleagues and tell them that you are new to the office and you need little time to adjust to the new environment. Develop confidence in your abilities and if required try to learn more in your field of specialty by attending to part time classes.
Once you improve your working skills, everything will be alright.

OK, I went through a very similar situation this year when I was doing data entry onto Medicare charts for a home health agency. This required extreme accuracy bvecause the medications and prognoses went directly to the treating physician's office so everything had to be 100 percent accurate no errors.
This was an all female office, the ones in my dept had worked together for years and had their own little clique, just like high school, and the ofc mgr was the leader of the pack, also female, an old hippie who behaved so lacking in professionalism it was amazing. I was, needless to say, totally intimidated by them and the final straw came when the head girl was talking to ehr buddies on the other side of my cubicle complaining about me and really being a b***h and I just left my station and went in the back room and talked to another girl who had been suffering as well. I got into so much trouble for this it was unreal. The ofc mgr called me into her ofc and had the head girl in there and they twisted it around so I was the bad guy when I hadn't done a thing except vent to a co-worker. Since the ofc mgr and the head girl were buddy buddy I had no voice, no rights, no nothing and had to suck it up and smile and apologize because I couldn't afford to lose my job. I remember how shocked I was when they both turned and attacked me at the same time; I was blindsided and just at a loss for words. This had more to do with harrassment, taunting and bullying than trying to help. We had enough stress and pressure without the attitude. I knew how to do the job and would have been fine w/o all the micromanaging and back stabbing.
I would NEVER work for ANY company that was all female, ever again and now I am so grateful I have a decent job with kind people who are more professional and not into torturing their employees because they can.
So, since I really was focusing and doing my job with SOME mistakes, I don't know what to tell you in terms of what you can do. You say you keep on making mistakes; are they new mistakes or the same ones? Do you ask for help if you need to? After three months you should be able to work on your own for a time, and you should have a good basic understanding of the process and what you have to do; if you need a refresher course or more training, ask for it and show the employer you want to do your job right and want to do anything to improve your skills.
You shouldn't worry so much about them being nice, and focus more on your skills and doing your work correctly and with less mistakes. When they see you trying, they will be nicer. You say you are the only one; you mean the only one who makes so many mistakes? If that is the case, then yes, you might very well get fired, but again, show them that you value the job and ask for more help if you need it but try to concentrate and work as hard as you can to improve.

No! They do not have that right and there are several steps you can take. Start with the District Manager like the other person said then move on to Corporate. If nothing happens there, or if this is a privately owned McDonald's, then you should go directly to the Dept. of Labor wherever you live. Quitting is an option, but like said before, you run the risk of having that work against you for future employment. Besides quitting only relieves you of the stress and does nothing to remedy the problem. These managers sound highly unprofessional even if it is a burger joint. I assume by your diction that you are young if that is the case have your parents help you. NOBODY has the RIGHT to degrade ANYONE! Manager or not! And there are laws against it! Good luck! P.S. If you do decide to quit, be sure to give 2 weeks notice and stick it out. You will be the better person for it.

First off stop making mistakes. Are you trying to go to fast in entering the data, if you are then you need to slow down, and be more accurate. The people you work with are not being bossy, them are trying to help you so you can do your job better. You are acting like you are the victim here, and you are the one causing the problems. If you want them to treat you nicely, do your job RIGHT. You are not the only one that is effected by your mistakes, the whole company is.

The only thing you can do is concentrate on the "work". Do not worry about how you are being treated right now. Concentrate on entering "error free" data. Have a talk with your manager and ask how you can improve and become a better asset to the department. Let her/him know that you value your position in the company and would like to her/his help in becoming more effective.

You need to concentrate on what you do. If you enter the date incorrectly then do they ask your colleagues to fix it for you? If it's true then no wonder they are being frustrated with you. The key is to concentrate on what you are doing. Maybe you are trying to finish the work as fast as you can and that is why you keep inputting wrong data. Pay attention to details AND concentrate. If you stop making mistakes then maybe your colleagues will treat you better.

If you don't slow down and pay more attention to the data you are entering, making sure there are no mistakes, you are going to get "replaced". Employers cannot tolerate repeated mistakes. If and when you prove you can do the work, your work environment will improve, but not until then.

Hmmm... Presuming you're not a Troll..

I'd stop worrying about everyone else and start taking some pride in your work..

No wonder everyone's treating you badly if you keep making mistakes over and over again.

People will treat you nicely once you stop being such a screw-up... You're making the whole department look bad just because you can't do your job properly.

The question you have to ask yourself is "Am I qualified for this job and how badly do I want to keep it?" If you think this is the right place for you, put your nose to the grindstone and show everyone that you really are an asset to the company. Otherwise, you may want to choose another field.

I had trouble with accurate data entry as well. I got my eyes checked and found I needed glasses. I still ended up losing the job.

You might want to get your eyes checked.
