Hi there,
I work for a NIssan dealer and we code keys every other day for this type of car, this type of car being an import.
Using concult 2/3 the tech will be able to gather info from the car and access the code form NFIT and tune the key as normal, It is that easy!!

Please contact me with more information if necessary. Order key blanks from japan then have them cut and NATS reprogramed. Only the very best Lock-Smiths can use there laptops to introduce new keys. Your dealer was not receptive to working on your right hand drive Z car. Or they tried and counl not find key data on there Consult 2? I find that slightly troubling. Some times it is the customers atitude that makes service writers / mechanics run the other way. If you were in North Texas I could help.

Have a look on one of the chatrooms on a 350z forum site.(google it) Someone must have had this problem before. Not sure if thers a chip in the key? Also try another main dealer. There is no difference in the imported cars they just don't like the fact you never (over)paid them for it.

Dealers may not have key blanks for some of the older Nissans, or they just don't know how to cut them. They some of the well known locksmiths in your area.

Is it one of these "smart" keys which contains data for the immobiliser? If so try an auto electrician.
If it is just a normal key then any key cutting place should be able do it fot you.
