A Catholic school has decided it is an inappropriate charity for them to donate to, is this a Christian decision?

Altough this is not my concept of Christianity and would prefer if you did not give the thumbs down to those who have the courage to express their opinions.
Thank you

i support Terence Higgins trust and i can see where the opposition is based on.but what the trust does is a help to all people not just the g.a.y community.

Many Christians will only donate to an organisation which furthers the cause of Christianity. Is the Higgins Trust such an organisation?

i am not christian and am always happy to pick holes in the catholic church, but i have to agree with them on this. No child should be forced to live in a gay household it is not natural if it was they would be able to have their own children.
I did not realise that they may have to shut their orphanages as the other person has said, and if this is true the anyone involved in higgins trust should be throughly ashamed of themselves.

The orphanages which will probably have to close, as a result of the THT, action, were orphanages that took the children, that nobody else wanted to house.

The only people to suffer, from this very inappropriate action,
will be the children and I am personally disgusted.

Yes, it is an inappropriate Trust. This trust of gay people took the church to court because the church would/could not allow it's orphans to go out to gay couples. As a result, the church (under the law), may have to abandon it's orphanages. So, ask yourself this, who's the ones who'll really suffer because of this so called 'charity trust'. The only reason they took this action against the church is because they are bigoted, gay anti-Catholics.
Remember this, because a Christian doesn't believe in homosexuality it dosen't 'necessarily' make them a bigot, it means that they are following their faith/concious . However, if an organisation takes another to court because of their faith, then I'd say that was bigoted.

Bigoted from a reasonable point of view; perfectly understandable from the point of view of the Catholic Church.

Yet another case of religion - a rather senseless thing in the first place - trying to be better than reality! I thought the work the THT does is slightly more important than doing a lot of praying, the outcome of which is - absolutely nothing ! ! !

Gee, a Catholic school not endorsing a group involved with homosexuality, condoms, etc. isn't that odd? Are you really this stupid?
