I've seen part of it. I watched about 20 minutes. If you find someone who watched the whole 2 hours, then I will be impressed.
After 15 minutes, I saw enough errors in the story to realize that going any further would be a waste of my time.
First and foremost, we know that Christ was not born on Dec 25. That is an arbitrary date that was agreed upon so that the Jewish, Christian and pagan holidays would all occur around the same time and nobles and merchants would not have different groups of people taking off at different times of the year.
We know that Christ was born around September of 4 bc as records show that Ceaser actually did tax the empire as is stated in the Gospel, Matthew. During that time there was a conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn (which astrologers associated with kings and holy men respectively) and this was most likely the guiding star as the wise men were magi and astrologers. The conjunction took place in a constellation that was associated with Israel (Aries, the ram) and it was common knowledge that the Israelites were awaiting the birth of a messiah, so it was not a difficult thing to put the two things together. That along with the messianic prophesy that the messiah would be born in the city of David, Bethlehem is what led the wise men there at that time.
The star Sirius does not move with respect to Orion's belt. It is always in the same place, and Orion's belt always points east west, not just in December, but all year around. How could Sirius guide the wise men to a place on earth when it rises in the east and sets in the west every night? They would spend half the night traveling east and then half the night traveling west. There is absolutely no correlation between Sirius and the messianic prophesies.
This immediately tells me that the people who made this video don't know what they are talking about and it is pointless to go any further. Once the video's credibility is gone, I place no value on anything else it says. I never cared for George Calrin's comedy anyway.
