you can inquire at hotels or clubs about whether they are hiring lounge singers. If they are, they'll probably give you an audition date or require you to send a record of you singing. It's easier to get hired if you have your own accompanist or band, so maybe you can also start by looking for people who can play for you. Good luck!

First of all; Are you really talented or do you think you are? Do you play an instrument like piano, electric keyboard or guitar? If not do you have an accompaniest ? Next, are there many clubs, cafes , bars , clubs who offer music to the customers in your area ? If you answer " Yes " to these questions ask for an audition and you might get consideration. I think your best bet would be to have an agent. He/she will protect you and help you with placement, and negotiate your contract or any business arangements that need to be made.
