It's 10:21 a.m. here in the UK and the pubs will be open at 12 noon.

I'm having a crappy day, so I'm looking forward to a pint at lunchtime.

Well it's 11.20pm where I am, so I wouldn't think that was too early. But I hate beer and I don't have any decent wine in the house, so I'm off to bed instead

Unfortunately yes! only 11am but a gin & tonic is best enjoyed at 5pm whilst making dinner for the family, ooh it tastes so good!
