Well, Leeds Bradford is on a hill as is Bristol (Lulsgate). Bristol was apparently a bad weather training base for the RAF during the war as it is so high up and is often in cloud!

Most airports are on some kind of slope.
If you check out runway data in Air publications they give you a % slope - very few if any are 0% (Level).

its not a major airport,bt there`s a landing strip on top of a hill near Welshpool,N.Wales-its mostly used by gliders and some small light aircraftThere is also a small airstrip on top of the Long Mynd,in Shropshire,used mainly by hang-gliders and microlites.
