My brother wants to dump his girlfriend because she doesn’t want to have sex till she is married. She is a very pretty girl and she is very sweet and caring. Our parents love her, and she always helps my little sis with her homework when she comes over. How can I get my brother to not dump her over something so stupid and selfish of him? They have been dating for five months or something. It really pisses me off that my older brother wants to dump her, I don’t even think he deserves her… I told my girlfriend about it and she is so disappointed in my brother, and she is friends with my brother’s girlfriend (she hasn’t told her and my girlfriend is a virgin and she is also saving it for marriage).
(Oh, my brother is 19 and his girlfriend is 18)…

your brother is just young. yes, he needs to grow up, but let him be. shes just not right for him right now. its something alot of young people want, and if you dont, HOORAY for you!!!

He clearly is doing this to spite you (since he wants you to live with a guilty conscious), so how can you call this person a friend.. he sounds very manipulative, and could be just saying this to get attention.. HOWEVER, just in case he is serious, you need to get other people involved (his parents or another authority figure like the police). If he is a serious threat to himself, he will need to get counseling and may not go willingly, so that's why you need to get older people involved. Anybody that is contemplating suicide over a relationship needs to know that this is not the end of the world...girlfriends and boyfriends come and go, and as hard as it may seem to get over her, he has to think about the entire future that lies in front of him.

he is a selfish person who did not truly understand the meaning of love just tell your brothers girlfriend the truth...she deserve to know it and she should know what to do rather then you trying to stop your brother from dumping her. because no matter how much you try to stop your brother, if he is determine enough to do that no matter what you do will not stop him.
stopping him is only a step to avoid problems but not solving it rather making it more complicated. his girlfriend should know the truth and deal with it herself. because you and i are not in that relationship we cannot do anything for them. only they can do the best for themselves and for each other.
but your brother instead of wanting to be love and love one another in a relationship he wanted something to his satisfaction which is very selfish and shameful. let his girl know the truth and let her dump him first i would say. and see him get his own medicine of trying to make a girl to sleep with him. let his girl know that you and your girl friend are there to support her and understand how she must have felt. for your brother, i bet he'll probably be mad at you 4 a long time. but if i were you i'd do that. because its the right thing to do.

Ethic problem
On the one hand I should say that sex is important in a relationship, but on the other hand finding a very good girl is so hard today that it would be clever to keep her.
But ok, I'm one of those that think that waiting marriage for sex is respectable but maybe not very clever.

It would be nice to talk to your brother about it, but he may not follow your advice. If he is dead set on finding a girl for sex, then his current girlfriend is not the one for him. And she should not have to be subject to pressure of that kind. Maybe in time your brother will come to appreciate fine qualities in a person. But he may need to learn it from experience.

First thing...definitely shallow.That tell's me that you're brother is doesn't have actual feeling for his gf just want to get laid.
Of course at that age most of us guys just want to get laid while there are some that are willing to wait also.
My case, all of my ex's were the same as your brother's gf. All of them didn't end up waiting...that includes my wife. All I am was loving and understanding.
Patience is a virtue especially in a relationship.

Listen, I'm sorry to have to say it but sex and physical intimacy is a VERY important aspect of a relationship. People will say 'omg he is soooo selfish!' when the reality of the matter is that a HEALTHY relationship needs sex to stay functional.
If my partner didn't love me enough to provide me with the physical pleasure my body is hardwired to crave and desire, in the same way that I am always willing to please him, I would dump him on the spot.
Your brother is doing the right thing for him and you have no right to question it. The one in the wrong her is the GIRL, since she is buying into the incorrect belief that a girl is 'damaged goods' if SHE decides when to have sex, rather than some guy she marries. I wouldn't want to date a girl like her either.
Sorry, but a REAL relationship requires physical intimacy, it's a scientific fact.

your brother is self centred and selfish. he doesn't deserve her it was best if they could talk and i feel that thay are young to be worried about sex. there are so many things he could do rather than sex like going out for movies, games, parties and hang out at the parks.

Sounds like your brother is a self centered ***. If he truly loved this girl, he wouldn't mind waiting until she is ready to be intimate with him.
I respect the fact that she wants to wait until marriage to have sex.
You should probably stay out of it. Your brother doesn't sound like he deserves a girl with morals as his girlfriend.

just tell ur brother that she is a really nice girl and what his thinking about is not everything in the world. this world is about love and caring and that girl has all these ability soo tell him to not loss a smart girl like this one
