1.Steady pain in the right upper abdomen that increases rapidly and lasts from 30 minutes to several hours.
2.pain in the back between the shoulder blades.pain under the right shoulder.
3. prolonged pain—more than 5 hours
4.nausea and vomiting
5.fever—even low-grade—or chills
6.yellowish color of the skin or whites of the eyes
7.clay-colored stools
Some of these symptons may happen when it is really serious, but you should go to the doctor and get checked!

I have recently been diagnosed with gallstones and my first episode of pain was as if I was having a heart attack and was put into hospital to get an an angiogram but everything was fine. After the second episode of pain which was just down from my breast bone I was put for a scan and it was discovered I have gallstones so I'm waiting to see the surgeon about getting them out.
