Because Islam teaches that Jesus was not crucified and raised from the dead for the forgiveness of sins it has as its founder an anti-christ. Jesus is demoted to a lesser position as the second most important prophet, and that is found in many circles to be down-right blasphemous.

Edit:
How odd that answering a question with simple, basic facts should solicit so much negative response. Since my response has received so much attention, allow me to ask which part of my answer is false.
Does Islam teach that Jesus was crucified?
Does Islam teach that Jesus was raised from the dead?
Does Islam teach that the shed blood of Christ removes the penalty of sin for believers?
Does Islam teach that all the prophesies of the Messiah belong to Jesus?
Does Islam teach that Jesus is greater than Mohammed?
I think I have already shown you that the religion of Islam is the real culprit, not the followers. Those are simply led astray and many commit heinous crimes because of it.
One single proof has yet to be produced.

Mostly due to the media's brainwashing of people. They got people believing Muslims are all terrorists, out to kill all non-believers, etc. Which is just not factually true.

There are 8-10 million Muslims in the United States of America and LESS THAN 1% of them have committed violent crimes. This is according to FBI crime statistics.

Most Muslim Americans are peaceful law-abiding citizens. They are just trying to survive like the rest of us and Be productive members of society.

In fact, Malcolm X actually predicted this. Paraphrasing him. He said, if you are not careful the newspapers, which was the media back then, will have you hating the oppressed and loving the oppressor.

It is unfortunate and a shame that In every group, the whole group is frequently identified by the misconduct of a few members of that group. Hatred destroys everyone.

It is always desirable to become informed and WELL informed about world religions. Without knowledge, the people perish.

I don't hate Islam. I am not ignorant of Islam. I don't fear Islam one bit. IT'S JUST ANOTHER RELIGION and religion, as far as I am concerned, is the "corral" that holds the "sheep." I pity sheep.

I don't respect those who cannot think for themselves. I don't care about the terrorists. I care about millions of people controlled by a few wacko clerics who simply say the word and the sheep will do ANYTHING if they're told that their god wants them to do it.

PS - JohnPaulJon - Muslims are girly whiners if they claim to be the "Jews of the 21st Century." If ANYTHING, it is "religion versus non-religion" that is the new millennium competition. If you'll bother to stop crying for a moment and read ... Christians get bashed WAY more than Muslims do.

Why? See the link below.

BTW, the followers *are* the "religion". The "religion" doesn't martyr itself, The followers do. I haven't seen the Koran strap bombs onto itself and kill. I have seen it's followers do so.

But, there is no religion. There is a relationship with your creator. Everything else is man-junk.

Why is it that non Muslims are pursicuted by law in Muslim countries? My Coptic and Antiochian Orthodox friends left the middle east for religious freedom.

it is propoganda against Islam..they don't know much about it,they just hear the false stories about it and accept them to be true......not going to know anything about Islam.
If they hate the terrorist, they must not be muslims.B/c a MUSLIM can't be a terrorist....As far as I know who murders one, will have the sin of murders in the whole mankind.
But wherever,MUSLIMS or people of any relegion are struggling for their rights, they are'nt terrorists, terror is imposed on them...

I don't hate Islam. I've actually gained a healthier respect for the Muslim peoples over the last couple of years. I'm not converting, though. ;-)

I don't even hate those (terrorists) whom do sinful things in the name of Islam. I pity them (the terrorists). They will not be happy when they find themselves in the Lake of Fire instead of in Heaven with a thousand virgin beauties.
