These sound more like flu symptoms than anything. She may have a cold or maybe allergies. However, nausea, upset stomach, fatigue and aches and pains are associated with pregnancy symptoms as well. There are other pregnancy symptoms to look for as well - sore breasts, light spotting or a missed period, morning sickness, etc. Since her period should be here shortly you should wait and see if her period does come. If it doesn't then she should definitely take a home pregnancy test. First Response is accurate and can be taken about 3 to 4 days before her period is due. Otherwise if her symptoms last longer than a week she should see a doctor.

The pains in your lower back, are they twitching and cramping pains?? If so this could be a magnesium deficiency. Eat more foods rich in magnesium ie: leafy and green vegies, nuts and seeds, wholegrains and cereals and cold water fishes such as tuna, salmon, sardines and whiting.
Magnesium is essential for effective nerve and muscle functioning, is a brilliant antistress mineral and is also very important for converting blood sugar into energy - bananas are a brilliant source of magnesium, so grab a banana and watch your niggling twitches and cramps melt away !!
If our bodies become deficient in magnesium it gets leached out of our muscles and bones, hence the needling pains, twitching and cramping.
The nausea is probably dietary related too?? Nausea and vomiting, headaches and migraines, fatigue and exhaustion, depression, irritability and moodiness, dizzy spells, loss of balance, constipation and insomnia, excessive sweating, tingling and prickling and numbing sensations in the outer extremities, and even chest pains and heart palpitations are all symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency !! Pretty freaky actually, if you don't realise the vitamin factor.
If you are vegetarian or lactose or intolerant it is really important that you go get yourself a good quality multi B complex supplement. The B complex of vitamins works best together, so get one including all the B's - B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12. The B complex of vitamins is a water soluble group and as such our bodies can neither produce or store them . Therefore we need to ingest them on a daily basis or suffer the consequences as you unfortunately are.
Eat more foods rich in this vitamin if you are able ie: organ meats such as lambs fry and kidneys, skimmed milks, cheese, fish and eggs.
Expect to pay around $30.00AUD for about 125 tablets, but hey, what price your health.
As they are water soluble, your body will simply excrete any excess you take ....... so when you are tired, irritable, headachy, nauseous etc. simply take another B tablet.
Excess intake of alcohol, caffeine and tinned foods can all contribute to robbing your body of its precious B vitamin supplies.
Take care of you ♥♥♥

I agree with the kidney infection, or it could have been a stone. If your symptoms continue I would consider seeing a doctor, however it is not uncommon for muscle pain to accompany just your run of the mill flu.
Sorry to be gross, but keep an eye on your pee :). Overly frothy, and oderant urine is a sign of kidney infection.
If kidney pain returns, and you are still nauseaus see a doctor. Drink plenty of fluids.

Hmm I'm not a Dr. but it could be flu, it might be appendicitis. I'd say call your Dr. and make an appointment to see what it is. It might not be serious but it doesn't hurt to find out! Drink water or gatorade it will help you stay hydrated since you were throwing up.
Hope that helps you! Hope you feel better soon!

Probably a bug going around but if you are as worried as you sound this is what you do!
take your fingers off the keyboard and put them on the telephone! Now I want you to call a person called a doctor and make what is known as an appointment, and then go ask him/her.

You better call your doctor, there is a disease going around that is a infection that is antibiotic resistant and it has flu-like symptoms, if you don't/can't afford a doctor try Webmd. Some of these antibiotic resistant illnesses can be fatal if not treated right away.
