in which the dead and dried up orange tree in my backyard was on fire. I ran out of my house and saw it ablaze yet the tree was pretty much untouched. I thought this rather miraculous so... I said, "Tree? Ehhhh... you got something to say?"
Utter silence... well this pissed me off so I started cussing at the tree but it never responded and then I woke up.

So my question is... do you think this dream has some type of signifigance or is it merely an indication from my subconcious that I have been spending far to much time in R&S of late?

if you live in SoCal, there could be some residual anxiety from the recent fires ...

that being said, [take a grain of salt here]
imagery-wise, the "burning bush" metaphor similar to Moses on the mountain ... the "dead and dried up orange tree" representing the status of religious ambiance in the modern age ... "not speaking" representing God not communicating with people today ....... "cussing at the tree" representing frustration with the lack of response from a deity that perhaps you wanted/expected.

"Tree? Ehhhh... you got something to say?" .. .defiance-attitude?
[I was reminded of Bob DYlan when reading this phrasing for some odd reason]

good luck

So....why were you speaking to a dead and dried up tree?
Did the "miraculous" event that was placed upon the tree give it a voice, or was it the dead tree that performed its own miracle?
In our dreams our minds piece together puzzles in a way that seem acceptable, but in many instances they are not. The dream would have been a nightmare if the tree answered. Try asking the one who set the fire.

I don't think your spending too much time in R&S, and I think you got it right. The tree has something to say but is not saying it. We are all symbolised in our dreams by someone or something else. In this case the tree is you and you have something profound to say. So next time you are in here find the question that allows you to share the profound piece of knowledge you have discovered. The question is there and we all need you to share.

The tree is the Tree of Life that keeps on going even after destruction. You want the tree to respond to your questions clearly, like the bush supposedly did to Moses. You woke up realizing that that is not going to happen. I, a response-able part of God am here to respond to you. What do you want?

Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine

When you were little the tree was alive, and you had a relationship with it. You do not want that (the relationship) to die, even though the tree did. To you, the tree is indestructible as your memory of it.

A tree represents a branch point in your life. You are facing some kind of decision, and you don't know what to do.

Isn't an indication you've been spending too much time here significant enough?
