Leave real eggs alone, most of the time. Try "Egg Beaters", whole wheat toast with jelly, and oatmeal. Please no bacon! Meats that are lean like turkey, and fish like salmon are good choices. Salads, vegetables, fruits, and nuts are good. Try using canola oil, olive oil as a rule. Stay away from fatty meats, and yes, that includes beef and pork. Things like french fries, doughnuts, high saturated fatty cookies are a no no. You need to check lables on the packages of what you buy, for how much cholesterol are in the item. You should also talk to your doctor.

Fresh, whole foods and NO junk foods, fast foods or processed foods.
Fresh fruits and vegetables - 7 to 9 servings per day
Whole grains (no processed grains) - 3 servings per day
Cold-water fish (also fish oil supplements)
Low fat meats - chicken, turkey, bison, occasional lean cuts of red meats, etc. - baked, not fried!
Lots of cold-pressed, virgin Olive Oil.
Avoid most dairy (cheese, milk, butter, etc.) but yogurt is great.
Lots of organic juices (grape-juice, blueberry juice, pomegranate, etc.)
Note: avoid egg-beaters, it is a processed junk food. The scientific literature is very clear on the issue of eggs - except for the rare person with EXTREME cholesterol problems, one egg per day is GOOD for you. Egg yolks contain many vital nutrients that are well known to PREVENT cardiovascular disease. There are numerous medical papers on this issue - many written by leading researchers at Harvard. You can review this research if you want to (you may need to show it to your doctor!) by going to Pubmed (Medline).
Best wishes and good luck!
