i have a file which can be opened with adobe reader, i want this file to be converted so that i can open with microsoft excel?

pls help me, the file has a list of companies and telephone numbers, i want this to transfer to excel.

is it possible?

There is a trick that can really help, because getting stuff out of pdf and into excel can really tear things apart. copying from pdf to clipboard often scrambles data (watch while you high light and see if the cursor jumps around a lot.) Then if you get the data in good form, excel manages to take all the commas out and divide the data across several columns.
So try various softwares and see if they will go into .doc files and make a nice table there. If they do, then copy the table from word and paste it into excel, which usually does a beautiful job. If data is comma or tab delimited, there are a couple of tools in Word for making tables that can eliminate the comma splitting hacks of Excel. And of course, being Microsoft, the standard of having quotes around comma delimited stuff to protect commas in the data does not work in Excel.
