Because I talk to my God. God is alive and well! God is the Creator and all we have to do is look around and we see all that he has created. The inspired Word of God has in it the recorded testimony of eyewitness accounts of Jesus walking on the earth and teaching and healing and doing miracles. I know there's God because His Spirit lives within me, and He is my counselor, teacher, and friend. I know there is a God because He listens to me and He gives me wisdom to walk with Him. I know there is a God and I know that He sent His only Son to die in my place so that I may be redeemed from my sins. And because of this historical fact (action), I am secure throughout eternity, and will live with my God forever.

School isn't the main thing you need this for, you need to know the truth, and you should start with reading The Bible, and I do realize someone who hasn't been witnessed to yet may not understand, Try talking to a pastor, or better yet to God, God is listening to you, believe me, God is always listening and loves us each and everyone, we are His children, That Bible is our letter from God, and alot of that Bible has already happened, all of the prophesies will happen, I pray you find God in your project, and continue to have Jesus in your life, if you have trouble even talking to a pastor right now, I recomment going to a Library, You can learn exodus, by watching The Ten Commandments, and you can find all sorts of stories on video, Peter and Paul is an excellent choice, I believe it stars Anthony Hopkins, It is a real good movie, and follows scripture, then get a Video on Jesus Christ, , All of this is true, and the videos may be easier for you to understand to the point you can actually sit down and invite The Lord into your life.

Lol, the feeling in our heart is probably heart burn and the lack of violence??? What world do you live in? Majority of people believe in A God beacause a book that was writen thousands of years ago says so. They also believe that if they don't follow A God they will go to hell for turning him down. I do believe it is al bs- putting faith into one thing is absurd. I think it's smarter to say I believe in a god or gods- nobody knows for sure what is out there. It's ignorant if you believe in just one thing and one thing only. How would someone feel if all these gods came to earth one day- maybe they would be judged then and all the people that kept an open mind wouldn't. Could be interesting.

I'll give you this situation:
A young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time.
When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his Questions.
Finally, his parents were able to find a scholar.
Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?
Scholar: I am one of God willing, I will be able to answer your questions.
Young man : Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to answer my questions.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of God.
This is one of his questions.
Young man: Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.
Young Man(feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me
Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your question.
Young Man : I really don't understand.
Scholar : How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man:Of course, I felt the pain.
Scholar:So do you believe that pain exists?
Young Man:Yes.
Scholar:Show me the shape of the pain!
Young Man:I cannot.
Scholar: That is my answer. All of us feel God's existence without being able to see His shape...
All things happening around us is all about God.

Its not about being a Christian, its about just looking around. How did we all get here? How is this world so perfect? How are we so perfect? How can this all be if it was all just a result of an explosion. Explosions have never in the past, and will never in the future, bring any order from disorder.
There is intelligent design, there must be an intelligent designer.
You are being intellectually dishonest with yourself if you say there is no god.
I hope this helps.
:)
Blessings upon you

I'll help you.....
"I believe in God because I fear the unknown, I'd rather have a fictional diety than accept that their very well may be nothing out there. I also believe because my parents believe, and their parents before them. Like my parents, I also refuse to question these things."
-Former Christian.

Having faith dear, means that you believe what you are told to believe. No questions asked and no proof needed.
Then when you want to belong to a community having schizoid delusional mental disorder, you just confirm that you have the same delusions.
Fortunately, in every modern civilized countries, thanks to public school and education, religious superstitions are quietly fading away....

god (Allah)him self will answer you questions
Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "(Allah) is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible."
He sends down water from the skies, and the channels flow, each according to its measure: But the torrent bears away to foam that mounts up to the surface. Even so, from that (ore) which they heat in the fire, to make ornaments or utensils therewith, there is a scum likewise. Thus doth Allah (by parables) show forth Truth and Vanity. For the scum disappears like froth cast out; while that which is for the good of mankind remains on the earth. Thus doth Allah set forth parables.

I think this would be a logical statement. "Everything must have a beginning. Matter cannot be neither created nor destroyed. however there is matter and has been created at one point. this creater would be classified as a god"
im an atheist... this argument has its flaws... but it questions things i dont have answers for.
