That's how my eyes are. Who knows how it happens?

In essence the human brain is actually two brains in one. The right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and vice versa. Since the two hemispheres can act independent of each other it is very possible for the eyes to have interposing fields of vision.

Isn't Mother Nature wonderful!

She could have been born that way (most likely reason and not rare). Or she could have had a disease, accident or surgery on one of the eyes that changed its power.
