Rural is out in the country. You know....where the cows and horses like to hang out. I have friends that live on a RR#2. (rural route) Which is about 5 miles from the most urban part of the city but still within the city limits. Urban is in town. Close enough in town to have the conveniences like shopping and getting gasoline only a few miles from your house. If you live in a rural area you probably live on a farm of some kind and have to drive a good amount to get to anywhere.

Rural now days is off the beaten path. Where there are a large amount of trees in one place, where peoples driveways are still gravel and you can go wading in the creek nearby. Rural is where large crops are grown and lots of beef and pork and chickens. All those things you get at the grocery store that you have no idea where it comes from. Rural is where still in a lot of places has no city water or cable tv. Like in my county. Rural is also not haveing a neighbor looking in your window, from any direction. And those were the days!!!!
