The most difficult thing about the Christian concept of the Trinity is that there is no way to adequately explain it. The Trinity is a concept that is impossible for any human being to fully understand, let alone explain. God is infinitely greater than we are, therefore we should not expect to be able to fully understand Him. The Bible teaches that the Father is God, that Jesus is God, and that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also teaches that there is only one God. Though we can understand some facts about the relationship of the different persons of the Trinity to one another, ultimately, it is incomprehensible to the human mind. However, this does not mean it is not true or not based on the teachings of the Bible.

This does confused many people. But the Bible states that there is a Trinity of three. God the Father, Jesus' Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.
God the creator can not look upon sin so He sent His Son to walk with man and to teach and preach the way to salvation.
Jesus' did this, He knew the sins of the world would be on His back. Jesus' only walked this earth for three-one-half years, but they still speak of him today.
Jesus told His Disciples that when He ascended to Heaven He would leave His comforter, His Holy Spirit to go out into the world and teach and preach His word. While he went to prepare a place for us.
If Adam and Eve had not taken a bite of that apple, our destination would have been in the Garden of Eve forever and without sin.
Jesus is the Son of God but also Jesus' & the Holy Spirit.
Pray for a better understanding. Some things we will not know until we get to Heaven or why!

Jesus is an Prophet and Messenger from God. He was born of virgin Mary and he has no father. Jesus was created by God just like God created everything else. "Be" and it is. Jesus is not the son of God because God does not have any off spring. God is the supreme being and he resembles nothing. He is above having any off spring, idols or false gods associated with him. He created all things that exist in the world and out. He is the only ONE that allows the sun and the moon to run a fixed courses, he is the one who created you and your shadow. Jesus (peace be upon him) Son of Mary is not a God but a creation sent by god to lead men to the right path.
Peace be upon you

NOT God, Never has, Never will Be. God CANNOT Die. End of Story. In 325 C.E., a council of bishops in Nicea in Asia Minor formulated a creed that declared the Son of God to be “true God” just as the Father was “true God.” In the year 381 C.E., another council met in Constantinople and declared that the holy spirit should be worshiped and glorified just as the Father and Son were. One year later, in 382 C.E., another synod met in Constantinople and affirmed the full divinity of the holy spirit. That same year, before a council in Rome, Pope Damasus presented a collection of teachings to be condemned by the church. The document, called the Tome of Damasus, included the following statements:
“If anyone denies that the Father is eternal, that the Son is eternal, and that the Holy Spirit is eternal: he is a heretic.”
So The Catholic Church did all the thinking for people as to who or what Jesus is. Frankly none of the Disciples or Followers of Jesus Thought him at any time to be God. It took a Council..Goodness me.

Both. Now, If you had specified the Father in there then we could have had a more lively discussion. ;-) But, the Bible does explicitly tell us that the Godhead is made up of three Persons in One:
1John 5:7,8 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth: the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."
The Bible also gives us a practical demonstration of this:
Matthew 3:16,17 "And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
Thus, you see three different physical manifestations of the Persons of the Godhead -- the Father's voice from Heaven, the Holy Spirit descending in the form of a dove, and Jesus Christ coming up out of the water.
Now, you asked, "Is Jesus God Himself...?" The Bible, again, makes it clear that Jesus is God:
John 1:1-3,14 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

He is the son of God. Some people believe in the trinity. Read up on it at wikipedia but really, I don't. Clearly there are 2 different beings there. The holy spirit is god's force-it isn't really a different person in a way but the bible clearly says Jesus is God's only begotten son. You decide when you read up on it.

God / Jesus / Holy spirit are the roles of God to his creation.
God robed himself in flesh and came to suffer to pay for our sins. But those roles are so glorious, we can only begin to contemplate their depth and meaning. In Jesus alone, the implications are almost unfathomable. He was the Song of God and the Son of Man. Pray for God to reveal this to you as you read His Word.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.....
....14: The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
