"NO REPLACEMENT BIBLES?!?!? OH NO!!!!"
Joking aside, it seems to me that religious folks are always trying to pass on bibles. You know, they come door to door, and they give you pamplets, and they give you a toll free number where you can order a brand new bible... You find free bibles everywhere. They're always trying to get converts to read the bible. So if I'm a Christian, why wouldn't I just give the robber the damn Bible? I think Jeebus would like that. Don't you? Anyway, after I pray for the police to catch and shoot the robber dead, there's a good chance I'll get my book back. Hmmm... Wait a minute, why is that guy threatening to kill me for my Bible anyway? Does it have to do with there being no replacement Bibles? Is he one of those extreme fundamentalist? Maybe this wasn't such a stupid question after all!

If it was the right bible then the robber would never come to them. If it was some bs made by mankind which many of them are and they believe in it then its karma to them Al hamdoullah. I have yet to see anyone that carried a bible be asked for it, and concequence of being death as the result of keeping something anyone can pick up for free anywhere.

I would give him the Bible, I don't need the Bible to worship God. Besides my friends have Bibles. And hopefully the robber would read the Bible and become a Christian.

if I was asked if I would give up my faith in Christ or lose my life, I would hopefully give up my life and stand firm to the end, However if it was the bible, or my life, I would give the person the bible, because I have already hid His Word in my heart, so I would be able to bring passages to my mind, and besides if the robber actually read the bible he/she maybe would come to know Christ. Interesting question!!

Just because there are no Bibles (in your world) doesn't mean there is no Jesus.
And many times throughout history, mankind has tried to get rid of the Holy Bible, and never succeeded.
Just because I say there are no trucks doesn't mean if I stand out in the middle of the road I wont get hit by one.
You can say there is no God all day, but that doesn't change the fact that there is.

I have read the Bible a LOT and I know most of what is in it. I would give him the Bible with the hopes he would read it and it would make a change in his life.

Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the Bible is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. So I would chop him to pieces with it or clobber him over the head! You wanna steal my Bible?

Bible
If God has intended that man should learn His religion from a book, the Bible, surely God would have given that book to man. Christ would have given that book to man. Did He do it? He did not. Christ sent His Apostles throughout the whole universe and said, "Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."

What good is having the word of God if you are not alive to read it?
If you pick your Bible then you will lose both your life and your Bible because you wont be alive to read it.
