Berries (like strawberries, blueberries...help prevent breast cancer) as does broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage. Salmon is great for you. Chicken breast and some multi grain bread.

Ok, I've done weight watchers and have stemmed to a healthy diet b/c I didn't want to spend too much... This is pretty much what I buy: Breakfasts: Those fit low fat yogurt smoothies, or oatmeal, an oatmeal bar Snacks: I love those 100 cal packs, I drink tons of Tazo Green Tea to take the hunger away... Berries are also very good as they are antioxidants, can have that with low fat whip cream And then I honestly look at low fat chips and pre package them in zip locks so that I won't over eat. Lunch: I've lost a lot of weight making a really good lentil soup on Sundays and packaging them up to eat during the week. If not a soup... If I am going to eat out... nothing fried, and to fattening Dinner: Very strict during the week.... Lean cuts of meat, chicken, fish, even shrimp... Vegetables. If I have a rice it's such a small amount that I mix it in with the vegies and meat... I love having lean steak with a side of Sauteed Mushrooms... With these veggies I watch out for White potato, but do eat sweet potato... Key is portion control. Good Luck.
